Yes, I am thinking of you!!

It was late at night,
when I was supposed to be asleep on my bed.
A thought silently broke into the peace of my mind.
A thought which was not letting me sleep,
yes, I was, for some reasons thinking of you,
thinking why I met you,
why did we became friends.
A promise to keep for lives to come,
to be together as now, as always.
A promise to make us happy,
without any guilt, without letting our ego take over our relationship,
without keeping thoughts in our mind,
utter each bit of it as simple as it can be,
never make each other worried for the past we have,
always be together in all the phases of life,
we sail through all woes & worries,
we sail through all happiness & joy,
we sail through the life, all together, always.
we celebrate our success,
we celebrate ourselves being together,
we celebrate the reason we met.

Yes, I am awake at 2 in the morning,
thinking of you, thinking of us,
thinking of all the realities,
perhaps could have been just words,
had we not met.
Yes, I am thinking of you.

kuch ankahee ehsaason ko dil mein samete,
ankahee baaton ko zubaan pe lapete,
nigahon mein teri chahat ke samunder ko ghere,
ek aur naya saal aayega!!


kuch naye umangon ke saath,
dil mein naye tarangon ke saath,
naye armaano ke saath,
dil mein kuch naye sapon ke saath!
ek aur naya saal aayega!!


kuch alag kar dikhane ki chahat dil mein liye,
ummeed ki nayi roshni dil mein jalaye,
nayi uchaiyon ko chhoone ki chahat liye,
har burai se ladne ki taaqat liye,
ek aur naya saal aayega!!


kuch khatti-meethi yaadein reh jayengi,
jise yaad kar ye dil fir gun-gunayega,
un palon ke ehsaaon ki mahek liye,
yunhi dil chalta chala jayega!
aur fir ek aur naya saal aayega!!
