'U'

One day I thought of U and fell asleep,

In my own illusive reality called dreams, created an imaginary U!

With some permanent footprint of memories in the heart-

the never ending gossips; the never ending fun,

the never ending relation; the never ending love,

the never ending "U n me"; the never ending 'we'!

Days passed and so did the nights,

still looking out for U,

in those awesome sleepless nights!

Then one-day we crossed each other,

without an iota of hint, it was U.

I eventually closed my eyes

and my heart just got a strike!

By the time, I could turn and hold U,

U were gone, within a blink of sight!!

No matter what happens,

deep in my heart I will always feel U!!
