Yes, I am thinking of you!!

It was late at night,
when I was supposed to be asleep on my bed.
A thought silently broke into the peace of my mind.
A thought which was not letting me sleep,
yes, I was, for some reasons thinking of you,
thinking why I met you,
why did we became friends.
A promise to keep for lives to come,
to be together as now, as always.
A promise to make us happy,
without any guilt, without letting our ego take over our relationship,
without keeping thoughts in our mind,
utter each bit of it as simple as it can be,
never make each other worried for the past we have,
always be together in all the phases of life,
we sail through all woes & worries,
we sail through all happiness & joy,
we sail through the life, all together, always.
we celebrate our success,
we celebrate ourselves being together,
we celebrate the reason we met.

Yes, I am awake at 2 in the morning,
thinking of you, thinking of us,
thinking of all the realities,
perhaps could have been just words,
had we not met.
Yes, I am thinking of you.

kuch ankahee ehsaason ko dil mein samete,
ankahee baaton ko zubaan pe lapete,
nigahon mein teri chahat ke samunder ko ghere,
ek aur naya saal aayega!!


kuch naye umangon ke saath,
dil mein naye tarangon ke saath,
naye armaano ke saath,
dil mein kuch naye sapon ke saath!
ek aur naya saal aayega!!


kuch alag kar dikhane ki chahat dil mein liye,
ummeed ki nayi roshni dil mein jalaye,
nayi uchaiyon ko chhoone ki chahat liye,
har burai se ladne ki taaqat liye,
ek aur naya saal aayega!!


kuch khatti-meethi yaadein reh jayengi,
jise yaad kar ye dil fir gun-gunayega,
un palon ke ehsaaon ki mahek liye,
yunhi dil chalta chala jayega!
aur fir ek aur naya saal aayega!!

A tribute to every mother!

zuban se jo nikala woh pehla shabd, maa, wo tere liye hi tha,
mere nanhe kadmo ko chalna sikhaya tune,
meri aankon ke har sapne ko naya roop diya tune.
main kuch nahin tere bina,
mujhe mera wajood diya tune.

mere nadaniyon ko samjha tune,
mere bachpan ko sanjoya tune,
meri fikar yun har waqt karta tera saya hi to tha,
main jo bhi hun aaj, teri parchayi hi to hun.

bachpan ki har wo sharartein yaad aa jati hain,
jo bachpan kisi aur ki nazar mein aati hai,
lagta hai khud ko kabhi,
kyun itna pareshan kiya karta tha tujhe,
aaj bhi samjh nhi aata ki hass ke taal dena un shararaton ko,
kyun aadat si ban gayi thi teri.

meri zindagi ki neev rakhta tera pyaar hi to tha,
teri isharon pe beeta tha bachpan mera,
teri daanto mein jeeta tha bachpan mera.
teri lori sun ke hi mujhe neend aati thi,
tere aanchal mein rakhke sar; beeta tha bachpan mera,
aaj bhi wo daant khane ko jee chahta hai,
yun tere lori sun ke so jane ko jee chahta hai.

duniya ki bhaag daud se door,
zalim duniya ki soch se pare,
jo hai ye shor bahot mere aas paas,
tere aanchal mein fir se sar rakhne ko jee chahta hai,
khud ko kabhi na samjh pata jo tu na hoti.
tujh bin mera koi astitva nahi,
tu hai to main hun,
aur tu kehti hai ki mujh bin tu nahi.

tu hai mera aayina,
tujh mein hi khud ko fir se paane ko jee chahta hai.
main chup jaun jahan se ja ke kahin,
bas teri hi god mein so jane jo jee chahta hai.
kehte hain sab khuda hai jahan mein kahin,
bas tujhe dekh lun to mujhe uska hi aks nazar aata hai.

Teri muskurahat

teri hasi dekh kar muskurane ko jee chahta hai,
tera zikr sunte hi ye dil khil jata hai,
tere ehsas se hi bas ye dil jhoom uthata hai,
teri har ada dekh kar, bas, tujhe hi dekhne ko jee chahta hai,
teri hasi dekh kar muskurane ko jee chahta hai.

kuch yun hai tera aks mujhmein samaya,
ki teri khushboo har waqt aati hai,
tumse hi hoti hai meri har subah,
tumse hi meri har shaam hoti hai,
din guzarta nahi bina tujhe dekhe,
har lamha ek saal lagta hai,
teri hasi dekh kar muskurane ko jee chahta hai.

kuch yun lagta hai har pal mujhe,
tumhari hi talaash thi is dil ko mere,
aaj bhi har waqt tujhe dekhta rahun ye dil chahta hai,
nazron se na ho tu kabhi ojhal ye dil chahta hai.
teri hasi dekh kar muskurane ko jee chahta hai.

This one isn't composed by me, but from someone sweet and adorable- didn't want to be named, Ajnabi!

chalo jiyein ajnabiyon si zindagi,
har lamhe mein ummeed naye rishte ki,
chalo jiyein ajnabiyon si ye zindagi...

kuch lamhe tumhare hun baaten,
kuch lamhe humare tum baato,
kuch khushiyan tumhari hum baaten,
kuch khushiyan humari tum baato,
bas rahe musafiron si ye zindagi,
lamha lamha katt jaye,
har pal mein bas muskurati jaye,
chalo jiyein ajnabiyon si ye zindagi...

na shikayat tum karo,
na shikayat hum karein,
bas muskurate tum raho,
bas muskurate hum rahein,
na khwaish ho sath rehne ki,
na khwaish ho sath chalne ki,
chalo jiyein ajnabiyon si ye zindagi...
